The taskbar is the subject of the most recent Windows 11 release
Notes on the Windows 11 update:
- A search bar is available on Start Now to help you find what you're looking for.
- The taskbar will now appear on multiple monitors if you activate it in Settings > Personalization > Taskbar.
- With the new Windows 11 visual style, we've changed various system alert dialog boxes, like as the alert for when your laptop's battery is low or when you alter your display settings.
- On the Power & battery page in Settings, the ‘Power mode' settings are now available.
- Without having to choose "Show additional choices," right-clicking the desktop now provides a Refresh option.
- Without having to choose "Show additional options," right-clicking a.ps1 file in File Explorer now has a Run with PowerShell option.
- When using smaller PCs in portrait orientation, the available snap configurations have been optimized for that posture. Instead of four quadrants, you can now snap three apps on top of each other.
- GIF options are now accessible for Windows Insiders in China via the emoji panel (WIN +.) thanks to a partnership with weshineapp.com, China's most popular GIF provider. GIF data from weshineapp.com will appear if the location is set to China.
- The option to troubleshoot sound problems is now available when right-clicking on the volume icon on the taskbar.
- The most prominent change in Build 22000.65 is the addition of a search bar to the start menu. Snap layouts for smaller displays have been adjusted, and the Power mode settings have been changed.
- Certain functionality and apps, such as Cortana and Internet Explorer, appear to be still missing after upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
